Ingrid Mair Zischg
Originally from Brixen (Bressanone, BZ), Ingrid Mair Zischg completed her studies in 1966 in Venice, where she earned the diploma of “Master of Art” (Maestro d’Arte) from the local State Art Institute. From her very first steps in the professional world, she dedicated herself to painting, distinguishing herself through an approach strongly oriented toward the use of diverse materials and mixed-media experimentation—a creative path she consistently pursued for about two decades. The turning point came in 1982 when she became fascinated by the world of ceramics. This keen interest marked the beginning of a new and stimulating phase in her career, driving her to travel throughout Italy and abroad to deepen her study, training, and research in this specific artistic discipline.
